Safe working height: As a general guideline, user should NEVER stand or climb higher than the fourth step down from the top of the ladder. Common sense should always prevail; never go higher on a ladder than you feel is safe for any given job.

Safety First: This is a special use product with specific limitations & is not intended for every job. Both points that come in contact with the ground depend on penetration of the turf for stability. Orchard ladders should NEVER be used on a hard surface such as concrete, pavement, etc..

Common Uses
Standard CLASSIC Series bottomThe design of our CLASSIC series ladders makes them the right choice for a variety of applications, the most common being tree fruit picking where ladder can be leaned into tree, tree pruning, and general landscape maintenance. Other popular uses include Olive, Avocado, and Apple harvesting. Modeled after our 200 series ladders, the ladder most preferred by our West Coast citrus harvesting customers. These ladders are meant for applications where a heavy duty ladder is needed, but weight and cost may be a deciding factor.

General Description
Our 400 CLASSIC series ladders are crafted after the original aluminum ladders produced at our plant. They use many of the same parts and dimensions as our 200 standard series super duty ladders. They also use the same heat-treated structural grade aluminum found on all of our ladders.

Steps are 2.5" wide, and have an extruded non-slip design with additional ridges added in the most common wear areas. All steps are held in place by a minimum of 8 solid aircraft type rivets per step. Ladders are braced by formed angle braces at stress points, which provides additional strength not found on all ladders.

Other features include: Super-duty ladder tops resist equipment damage, and double reinforced bottoms to add life to one of the most common wear areas. Years of maintenance free use - the last brand orchard ladder you will ever buy! Point top configuration available by request.
