Safe working height: As a general guideline, user should NEVER stand or climb higher than the fourth step down from the top of the ladder. Common sense should always prevail; never go higher on a ladder than you feel is safe for any given job. Safety First: This is a special use product with specific limitations & is not intended for every job. All three points that come in contact with the ground depend on penetration of the turf for stability. There is no spreader arm or tether between the third leg pole & ladder to prevent spreading. Orchard ladders should NEVER be used on a hard surface such as concrete, pavement, etc..
Common Uses The design of our 100 series ladders makes them the right choice for a variety of applications, the most common being tree fruit picking, tree pruning, and general landscape maintenance. These ladders are designed to handle heavy use in the toughest of environments. Perfect for everyday commercial use.
General Description Our 100 series super-duty ladders are quite simply the best ladders we have ever manufactured. They are built from tough, heat-treated structural grade aluminum for both strength and durability. Steps are a full 3" wide for worker comfort, and have an extruded non-slip design with additional ridges added in the most common wear areas. The lower steps also feature a reinforced rib making it the strongest step available. All steps are held in place by a minimum of 8 solid aircraft type rivets per step. Ladders are braced by formed angle and bottom braces at all stress points, which provides additional strength not found on all ladders. Other features include: 3/16" thick top tabs where the pole attaches to the ladder, 5/16" grade 5 steel bolts attaching the pole to the top tabs with a protective steel bushing at the pivot point, shoulder pad for worker comfort while carrying ladder, and double reinforced bottoms to add life to one of the most common wear areas. Years of maintenance free use - the last brand orchard ladder you will ever buy!
