June 13, 2018 by Strathmore Ladder Strathmore Ladder (1) Field lift runs over ladder damaging it(2) Ladder is carefully marked where so the damaged section can be removed(3) The step was undamaged, it will be removed and used again(4) The pole holder is also removed and will be reused(5) The damaged portion is cut away using a recipocating saw(6) The damaged is now removed(7) The ladder now has the damaged side rail and lower step removed and is ready to be rebuilt(8) A new piece of side rail is now clamped into place using a pre-cut inner rail splice(9) View of the splice from the inside of rail, ready to be permantly attached(10) Holes are carefully drilled and rivets attached securing the new rail(11) The step that was removed is carefully fitted back into its proper position(12) The lower step which was damged and had to be replaced is also fitted into place(13) Both steps are now riveted into place(14) The braces and rail bottoms are now riveted back on as well(15) One side of the ladder now finished, the ladder is turned over to finsih the work on the other side(16) The entire process is repeated to complete the repair(17) Repaired rail from the outside(18) Repaired rail from the inside(19) Repaired ladder ready to go(20) Ready for use
